CHESAPEAKE HEARTLAND
ARCHIVES CONTRIBUTORS
The Chesapeake Heartland website, a treasure of the Eastern Shore and the United States, illuminates extraordinary human resilience and ingenuity. Our archives, projects, time capsule and exhibits are made possible through community members and cultural partners generously sharing materials that we can now offer to the broader public and future generations. Washington College staff and students have devoted their time and expertise to preserve these artifacts in a digital archive to be shared on a website for use by students, educators, researchers, artists, community groups, non-profits, and public institutions. For their archives contributions that illustrate the vibrant histories of the Upper Eastern Shore, we offer our deepest gratitude.
