Chesapeake Heartland Community Fellow, the one and only Tevi Ann Swinson, will be hosting an Open House at Sumner Hall on Wednesday, July 29 from 6-8 PM to introduce her summer project to interested students in Kent County and beyond. Students, ages 5 to 17 years old, will work with Tevi Ann across the summer and early fall to sing, dance, act, rap, and write in celebration of Kent County's proud history of black business owners, past and present. Qualified workshop leaders will provide instruction in each art form and discipline! If you or a family member is interested in participating in this project, please join the Open House or contact Tevi Ann's non-profit, Small Towns Big Artists, Inc!
