Danny Palmatary
Danny is a recent graduate from Washington College and its Department of Music. From a young age, they have been incredibly drawn to music and how it brings communities together. They are a musician, singer, and producer with interests in hip hop, metal, and synthesizer music. Danny is excited to work on the Hip Hop Time Capsule for a number of reasons. The opportunity to work collaboratively with different artists is always incredible. They are also excited to learn more about Chestertown and its rich history. Finally, they are incredibly grateful to be part of a project working to uncover and celebrate Black history and culture especially in a place like Chestertown. Danny plans to find employment in the music industry working as a producer.
DJ Danny P
DJ Danny P is a multi-instrumentalist, multi-genre, multi-talented, multi-dimensional producer. The inspiration for their sound comes from the depthless pits of mystery. The gear used in their arsenal spans the entire sonic spectrum from classic synthesizers to the biggest beefiest guitars and amps to the didgeridoo. Nothing impedes the creative flow from DJ Danny P’s mind aside from a mandatory 8 hours of sleep on a nightly basis to maintain a youthful glow and bubbly personality.
