Zylia Knowlin ('94)
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Zylia Knowlin ’94 was one of the founders of Cleopatra’s Daughters and the Dale Adams Heritage Exchange. An active contributor to The Elm student newspaper, her editorials frequently discussed race and diversity at the college.
Zylia is now a published author. Her first novel, The Memoirs of an Empress, was released in 2019, and her second novel, 1991, is forthcoming in 2021.
